                Our current initiatives include:

  • Working directly with parish communities to create and sustain parish social ministry programs, making social justice and awareness of issues of inequality an integral part of parish life.

  • Providing consultation and resources for clergy, individuals and parish groups to increase advocacy for issues facing our most vulnerable communities.

  • Creating a culture of caring for those in need, and developing systems for addressing the root causes of injustice in our local communities.

  • Working to raise awareness of global issues that impact both our neighbors around the world and our own communities.

  • Providing workshops, retreats and custom-designed programs for the broader archdiocesan community and for local parish groups.

  • Working with grassroots organizations managed by low-income groups to empower leadership and to nurture self-sustaining efforts to address the issues of poverty, homelessness, affordable healthcare and injustice.
