SOCIAL JUSTICE AND
RACIAL JUSTICE CAPACITY BUILDING GRANTS Offered by The Office for Catholic Social Justice Ministry This grant is designed to help parishes respond to the US Catholic Bishops’ Pastoral letter against racism, Open Wide Our Hearts, the enduring call to love. This will empower the parish’s efforts to educate and raise awareness of social concerns and strengthen their resolve to create cultures of encounter and work for justice.
Funding is available on a first come-first serve basis to parishes within the Archdiocese of Hartford. Funding is possible due to generous donations and is limited. To be eligible for funding, a project must satisfy the certain criteria and guidelines which can be found below. |
BROAD BASED ORGANIZING
MEMBERSHIP ASSISTANCE GRANT Offered by The Office for Catholic Social Justice Ministry This grant helps parishes become dues paying members of
broad-based community organizations. It is designed to financially support parishes as they enter into membership of the organization, help parishes increase their dues contribution, or serve as a bridge grant during a parish transition. Funding is available to parishes within the Archdiocese of Hartford. To be eligible for funding, the criteria found below must be met. |
