Youth and Young Adult Ministry

“Dear young people, please, don’t be observers of life, but get involved.  Jesus did not remain an observer, but he immersed himself.  Don’t be  observers, but immerse yourself in the reality of life, as Jesus did"
 Pope Francis

What We Do

The Office for Catholic Social Justice Ministry works with high schools and parishes to engage their young people in social justice education and meaningful action for justice.

With the assistance of our Youth and Young Adult Advisory Team,  we develop programs and presentations to help teachers, youth ministers, campus ministers and DRE's integrate the social justice teachings of our Church into parish and school life, and to provide opportunities for reflection and action that support the work of social justice.

"Lastly, it is to you, young men and women of the world, that the Council wishes to address its final message. For it is you who are to receive the torch from the hands of your elders."
